Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress. She is most famous for her role as Skyler in AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 & 2014. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and was awed by acting when she was in Preparatory School. At the end of the 1970s, the family moved to Ohio. She attended theatre classes at Northwestern University and spent a year at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the theatre in the Chicago region for a couple of years before trying her hand at television as well as films. In 1992, Anna landed her first big part as Arden in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. In the early 90s Anna was a frequent actor in both film and TV like Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. In 2008 she was cast as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood were also an integral part of her professional acting career. Gunn is also a part of the stages in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the four-part podcast audio drama called Numbered Days, which was launched in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final ending mirrors the last years that were the life of Walter White.
